Our Trade Planning and Strategy team are responsible for defining and reviewing the strategy for promotions, price and trade both in store and online. Working with our buying teams, they showcase to customers the very best of Tesco, from an excellent deal on your favourites or an exciting seasonal event. To get on in Trade Planning & Strategy you need to understand our customers and use this to plan for the long term as well as having the capability to be reactive to changing market conditions.
Our Category Planning team work with Supplier, Customer & Dunnhumby teams to deliver Customer activation in store & online they deliver customer-facing activity across all channels to critical path. The team are passionate about our customers & flourish with turning insights in to long term plans to drive Category Growth & Market Share. They create customer propositions that make a real impact on our range decisions & engage with a range of suppliers to build market value.
Supplier Engagement are a central hub who support making sure suppliers across the business have a great and supported experience working with Tesco, whether that’s delivering communication, listening through regular feedback programs or dealing with queries through our supplier helpline.
Our campus sits just 10 minutes walk from the centre of Welwyn Garden city with its many shops, restaurants, pubs and sports facilities. Close to the A1 and with frequent trains running to Kings Cross in as little as 26 minutes (free shuttle buses take you between the station and office) the campus is well connected to the surrounding area.
