To lead on Whoosh range management, range expansion and product availability. In doing this, support scaling the Whoosh proposition in wider collaboration with a cross functional team, whilst taking ownership for the specific operational levers required for the rollout and continued optimisation of the Whoosh proposition within the Online ecosystem.

Think and operate strategically to ensure robust and scalable solutions are embedded amongst technology, support teams and wider trading and operations teams. Engage with partners across Tesco, working with others to deliver objectives and deliver measurable improvements.

Take ownership of processes and systems, making sure they are effective, efficient and scalable; you spot issues and swiftly find the best solutions.

You will be responsible for

  • Consult across all cross-functional Whoosh teams and wider Online teams to lead on Whoosh range management, range expansion and product availability.
  • Act as a key conduit with Whoosh Online Trading, Whoosh Proposition development, Technology, SRD and Supply Chain.
  • Develop a clear and robust operations plan for both Seasonal, short term and long term trading plans.
  • Work alongside the Whoosh proposition team to define and craft the range for the Whoosh customer offering, including handling and scoping trials.
  • Use data driven insights to inspire changes to customer proposition and merchandising principles.
  • ‘Join the dots' for sophisticated problems and fast resolution of issue management.
  • Taking an end-to-end view of execution to ensure customer experience is as efficient as possible in an evolving and fast paced market, whilst building scalable solutions.
  • Spotting new optimisation opportunities and crafting business cases to support the continued rollout.
  • Ensuring Tesco project management principles are followed including partner management, set up/organisation of the project, budget set up/controlled with cost savings delivered and communicating with/motivating natural work team members.
  • Managing interdependencies and any potential conflicts, working with others to deliver the project objectives/scope and for the good of customers, colleagues & planet.
  • Taking ownership of processes and systems, making sure they are effective and efficient; you spot issues and swiftly find the best, simplest solutions.
