About the role

As a Product Manager, you are responsible for delivering value to colleagues and security to the business within the colleague facing Identity and Access Management field. You will be accountable for evolving and driving the product vision & strategy for my product, partnering with business stakeholders to set the future direction as part of the wider business strategy. You will drive discovery, set priorities, create backlogs, write user stories, and partner with the engineering teams to deliver measurable value to the colleague. You will be an ambassador for the colleague and well-informed by data.

You will be responsible for

  • Evolving and drive the product vision, strategy, and the long-term roadmap
  • Proactively partnering with peers and senior stakeholders to set the future direction of my product as part of the wider business strategy
  • Understanding key user personas, customers & stakeholders for the product and their pain points
  • The performance and adoption of the product and work towards achieving the Outcomes and Key Results (OKRs)
  • Prioritising work and decisively resolving trade-offs with peers and senior leaders
  • Effectively documenting and explaining new requirements to the engineering team using user stories with acceptance criteria, helping the team in breaking down complex work into smaller, deliverable chunks of value that can be delivered faster.
  • Steering sprint planning sessions by working with the engineering counterparts to plan sprints that deliver maximum business value in least effort

You will need

  • I have applied a focus on UX to the products I work on, making sure I design a product that is intuitive and easy to interact with for my customer
  • I have leveraged different research techniques to produce robust and compelling results
  • I know how diverse personas or customer groups perceive, understand and experience my product in different ways
  • I write hypothesis statements and work directly with optimisation managers and/or engineers to set up and execute experiments
  • I know how large technology systems should interact with each other and track health metrics (uptime, SLOs, response time, etc)
  • I am involved in setting the vision and strategy for my product area and develop and baseline my product's OKRs
