We're looking for an experienced Trade Planning Manager to come join our team within the Packaged and Fresh divisions across Express stores!

You'll be responsible for developing plans based on customer and product insight and to deliver a winning proposition for our Customers and Tesco.

You will be responsible for

  • Reviewing & continuously improving the Promotional offering, optimizing all pieces of Feature Space, to drive sales and enhanced customer perception.
  • Prioritising propositions, promotions and offers based on customer needs and calendar themes.
  • Communicating and owning delivery of critical path including sign off's, and leading all trade plan initiatives across Tesco.
  • Expertise knowledge on promotions and Feature Space, across stores.
  • Responsible for owning the relationship and communication of Product strategy with Retail, Product, Customer and SRM.
  • Developing and manage format specific Trade Plans, ensuring our promotions are relevant for Express.
  • Working collaboratively across the Strategy and Trade Category, calling on expertise from within Price, Promotions and Dunnhumby colleagues.
  • Running weekly forums within Product and wider business colleagues to deliver the perfect plan.
  • Following the Business Code of Conduct, always acting with integrity and due diligence.
  • Adhering to all Tesco policies, storage and hand over protocols and successfully completing all my training.

You will need

  • Range development and Trade planning experience.
  • Merchandise Planning or Buying experience.
  • Critical Path Management.
  • Proven track record of making decisions on Market Data.
  • Strong analytical and data interpretation skills.
  • Strong influencing and Communication skills.
