About the role

We are delighted to share that we are actively recruiting for a Merchandise Planning Manager on F&F Clothing (Outerwear & Swim) on a 12 month Parental Leave Cover - Part Time.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and implementing the top line budgets across Region, Country and Channel, ensuring  that  sales, profit and stock management KPI's are delivered in line with the company strategy. 

This is a great opportunity for someone who has multi-channel experience and looking for a new challenge as a Merchandiser Planning Manager.

You will be responsible for

- Shape and deliver Department Strategy to align with Clothing long term plan e.g. to deliver profitable market share growth.

- Working collaboratively with Buying, Design and supplier partners to build ranges that meet customer needs, incl. maximising sales, profit density and space, always looking for opportunities and identifying gaps

- Manage the supplier relationship, Critical paths and look at opportunities to streamline process and manage stocks

- Develop and deliver the category trade and event plan with all key stakeholders (and associated sales and margin targets), adapting in response to market changes

- Ensuring that our pricing is managed within agreed timescales, adhering to pricing policy and promotional and markdown spent is optimised to exit lines most profitably .  

- Overseeing and ensuring ranging systems/ trackers  and orders are accurately maintained by my global team.  

- Managing departmental WSSI, addressing gaps between forecast and budget, highlighting risks and opportunities, and managing KPI's

- Building departmental budgets and phasing

- Overseeing Monday Trade Reporting and ensuring next steps are actioned in response to trading conditions

- Presenting all key financials to senior Leadership team

- Following our Business Code of Conduct and always acting with integrity and due diligence

You will need

- Commercial Merchandising experience

- Category management (from strategy/planning, open to buy and exit management)

- WSSI management

- Range and trade planning

- Leading and developing teams
