Technician Planner

Tesco Maintenance have a great opportunity for a Technician Planner to work as part of our Maintenance Support team in our National Operating Center in Milton Keynes. At Tesco, our stores and offices couldn’t function without the support of our Maintenance Team. Technician Planners coordinate and plan maintenance activities through the EAM Systems. Driving effectiveness of weekly technician work queues and contractors to achieve maximum equipment availability.

• Coordinating and planning maintenance activities through the EAM system Verisae
• Supporting the implementation and control of the EAM System across all phases.
• Drive effectiveness of weekly work queues and improve the utilisation of the field maintenance teams.
• Review the Planned Maintenance System ensuring the content is correct, completion times are specified.
• Utilise the work queues and planned maintenance systems to achieve the required target completion rates.
• Organising and planning contractor attendance as required.
• Challenging contractors to deliver their service within agreed timescales.
• Providing clarity around the work order number Process.
• Managing the expectations of key stakeholders.

• IT skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to make quick and effective decisions.
• Experience working in a fast paced environment.

Ideal additional skills include:

• Experience in maintenance.
• Experience working with EAM systems such as Verisae
