You will lead the delivery of strategic Finance Change projects to ensure successful delivery of the change agenda through the definition, design and delivery of a project, within a wider programme or portfolio of change. Leading a team of subject matter experts through the end to end project lifecyle to ensure successful delivery of the programme. Proactively lead and collaborate with stakeholders within the business including Finance and Technology to ensure shared ownership for the delivery of business outcomes and realisation of benefits. Manage effective governance framework to ensure the appropriate level of oversight and control is in place across the delivery of the programme

You will be responsible for

  • Leads the end to end delivery of a defined programme - moving through all key stages from discovery through to closure - following the Finance Change methodology
  • Works in collaboration with project sponsors and other stakeholders within the business to ensure shared ownership for the delivery of programme outcomes
  • Drive complex change into the organisation through the application of ‘best in class’ project, programme and change management
  • Deliver to agreed timeline, and on budget, challenge and course correct the plan as required. - Act as first point of escalation for the project team
  • Manage all risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies within the project, escalating where appropriate
  • Ensure project plans are aligned and dependencies managed to the broader programme plans
  • Provide programme status summary and reporting into relevant governance forums
  • Adhere to planning and reporting standards
  • Lead the process for assessing change requests
  • Leads Lessons Learnt sessions & Post implementation reviews in conjunction with team members and other key stakeholders
  • Plays an active role in continuously improving the engagement and performance of the team

You will need

  • Significant experience as a Project Manager delivering end to end projects from initiation, delivery, to release, hypercare and transition
  • Finance and Technology Project delivery experience
  • Project Management Professional accreditation i.e. APM, Prince2, SAFe, Agile
  • Prior experience working within projects heavily aligned with Technology
  • Strong Stakeholder skills
