You will be responsible for

In the role, you will lead the development and delivery of Transition phase for the Goods For Resale (GFR) Programme. Working with the GFR Head of Programme and SRO to effectively deliver the programmes strategic objectives and support the establishment and transition of the new organisational capabilities in process and data management across Finance. The role will  be responsible for -

  • Detailed Transition Framework that is adopted to support the Transition phase
  • Defining and documenting the agreed transition approach and plan, with a Technical and Business lens, ensuring delivery inline with the overall programme while ensuring supplier deployment minimises operational risk
  • Ensure the effectiveness and performance of the programme organisation and the operational performance in readiness for Transition
  • Ensure the business operation is stable and consistent with controls and measures in place to support Transition
  • Ensure all users have effectively adopted the new processes and ways of working before end of hypercare
  • Ensure that the programme delivers a coherent capability, achieves its strategic outcomes, and realises its benefits
  • Ensure there is effective rigor of Business and User acceptance testing, as well as operational testing, controls and reporting throughout Transition, Go Live and Hypercare
  • Ensure the programme's increased governance arrangements and appropriate assurance during Transition is in place and understood
  • Ensure all risks, issues and dependencies have been addressed pre Go Live and Go / No Go criteria has been achieved
  • Maintain the interface with key senior stakeholders, keeping them engaged and informed, monitoring and updating on key strategic risks facing the programme during the Transition phase
  • Ensure assurance and audit reviews in respect of Transition management activities and progress

You will need

  • Significant experience managing complex, multi-workstream Finance Change programmes
  • Experience of developing a change organisation
  • Experience designing and implementing operating model change in large organisations
  • Experience of cross functional change in a large organisation
