About the role

This role sits in the Beauty, Personal Care and Pet category in the Packaged Division. You'll be looking after the category planning of Petcare and Bulk Buys.

You'll use insight to develop your category trade plan and strategy across all channels through space, range, price and promotions ensuring they deliver a great proposition for our customers.

You will be responsible for

  • Using category insight to define and implement a multi-channel strategy (including but not limited to price, promotions and ranging), crafting a market leading customer proposition that drives sales and market share
  • Define a clear multi-channel and cross format trade plan that maxes the mix and achieves category objectives
  • Define the category trade plan to deliver a great offer for out customers in line with feature space principles
  • Delivering customer-facing activity across all channels (promotions and events) to critical path
  • Adhering to all Tesco policies, storage and handover protocols and successfully completing all training so there are zero GSCOP breaches
  • Ensuring all supplier agreements are recorded in writing, reporting GSCOP complaints to Legal within 48 hours or receipt, and leading a high level of compliance within the team

You will need

  • Critical path management experience
  • Data analysis using market analytical data
  • Team working and stakeholder management
  • Competent Microsoft excel skills
