Tesco Connect is an application which enables both our Supply Chain team and suppliers to manage the supply and demand of all the products across all of our stores and depots globally. It is a high-performing supply chain enabler, helping products to move from source to shelf as seamlessly as possible, maximising availability, whilst minimising costand waste.
We manage a control tower view of our supply chain, which is super-critical to our business!

As a Software Development Manager, your primary responsibility is to build and maintain an engaged and effective development team of engineers. You’ll do this by taking a deep interest in the people that report to you, making sure they are happy, motivated, and challenged in what they are doing. You will guide them to reach pragmatic technical solutions, and keep yourself close to the code (without becoming a blocker). You’ll also take ownership when things go wrong but celebrate success collectively. Specifically, you will:
The role will include ownership of the on-call rota to support our applications in production.
