Additional Information

Salary:

UoP 18 000 - 23 000 PLN gross/month

B2B 19 000 - 26 000 PLN net/month

Job Description

This job requires to be based in/close to Kraków. We currently work in a hybrid model and meet in our office 3 days a week.

We are looking to hire for a maternity cover, either for a B2B contract or UoP.

About the Colleague Transformation Programme

The purpose of the Colleague Transformation programme is to earn the trust of our colleagues in a simple and helpful way. The programme aims to provide colleagues with a better experience of working at Tesco, enhanced by technology that’s accessible anywhere and available to everyone. By reducing admin our Managers and People Partners will be able to focus on building teams and capability. And our Colleagues will be able to be more productive and focus on building their skills and careers.

The Role – Product Manager – Colleague Transformation

Whilst specific responsibilities will be dependent upon the changing needs of the Tesco business, the following provides an overview of the role’s key responsibilities and measures:

  • Have accountability for complex/ large product(s)/ that involve multiple internal/external stakeholders.
  • Leading the development plans: shaping the overall strategy, defining and prioritising business requirements and working with the different business units to ensure their plans are integrated
  • Work with other Product Managers, architects and the development team to deliver the roadmap using agile methodologies: prioritising requirements, answering development questions and resolving issues, always putting the customer first.
  • Getting involved and working with a team of developers to deliver value iteratively
  • Strong technical skills as working predominately with APIs
  • Proactively seeking improvements to our ways of working across the various teams involved in the development and ongoing management of our API platform portfolio
  • Monitoring and understanding the potential of new technologies and business models, identifying and developing new opportunities for Tesco.
  • This role will best suit an individual who enjoys working as part of a team, is well organised, pragmatic and a lateral thinker with an inquisitive mind who is motivated to make change for the better and, most importantly, puts our customers first.

 

Qualifications

Key Skills and Experience

You’ll need to have demonstrated experience of:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • A methodical/ analytical approach and great problem-solving skills
  • Attitude and the aptitude to learn new product area/domain quickly
  • Great presentation and persuasion skills
  • Team player who could work collaboratively with other members of the team
  • Ownership, responsiveness and commitment towards assigned work
  • Strong decision making and prioritization skills, especially when multiple trade-offs are involved, and faster decision are required
  • Empathy and good listening skills to understand the needs/ pain points of your customers/ stakeholders
  • Excellent facilitation to effectively facilitate requirement gathering/elicitation sessions with senior business leaders/ stakeholders
  • Expertise of Agile methodologies, writing effective user stories/ acceptance criterions
  • Understanding of User Research/ Design Thinking concepts
  • Great people skills and can gain respect and trust of team members and others working with you
  • Having proven success in working on unstructured problems, defining hypothesis, creating MVPs, running experiments and analysing results to drive data-driven decisions
  • Technical competence to influence and understand the solution context and approach and aid engineering in estimating the complexity of work being requested
  • Prioritisation and decision-making skills demonstrating how these have taken into account business priorities, complexity, dependencies and value.
  • Articulating a product strategy in terms of consumer and business value.
