About the role

Are you passionate about delivering the perfect online order while balancing profitability and customer experience? Join Tesco as a Finance Manager - Online Fulfilment and work closely with our Online business, influencing senior stakeholders and embedding yourself as a key member of our project teams.

You will be responsible for

  • Collaborate with the Online teams to deliver cost-saving and growth-driving initiatives, involving day-to-day interactions with project managers, heads of project teams, and fulfilment directors.
  • Partner with Customer Fulfilment Centre managers, holding them accountable for their financial performance and working alongside the fulfilment operations director to drive operational efficiencies.
  • Take ownership of the budget and forecast for savings/growth initiatives and Customer Fulfilment Centres.
  • Enhance existing processes across workstreams to increase clarity and drive significant improvements in business performance.
  • Participate in investment appraisals for new Online initiatives.
  • Work closely with the Channels FP&A team to build a clear and consistent view of current performance, outlook, and risks & opportunities.
  • Develop broader Online operational improvement initiatives and drive actions to deliver these through business stakeholders.

You will need

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA).
  • Finance experience in driving strategic priorities in large complex organisations.
  • Experience of engaging and working with senior business stakeholders.
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail and the ability to spot trends and draw actionable insights from data.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships quickly with stakeholders at all levels.
